- I'm a former law enforcement officer who regularly teaches new shooters basic firearms safety and handling as well as making sure new shooters are at least comfortable in basic firearms operation, and try to ensure a solid baseline proficiency of firearm use. I am proficient in nearly all types of handguns (With the exception of revolvers), most American and western European style semi automatic rifles, and both pump and semi automatic shotguns.
